Our Team

Asia Elects is a market leader in the analysis of polls and election data in Asia. The international team contextualizes the data for free for tens of thousands of followers on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Moreover, Asia Elects acts as a democracy watchdog in authoritarian countries. Asia Elects’ work breaks the national narrative and reports from a transnational perspective for a pan-Asian audience.

Asia Elects is run by a non-partisan team of 15 volunteers. 100% of our income is reinvested into Asia Elects.

Our vision

A world with cross-border political understanding and global democracy that is led by a politically empowered citizenry.

Our mission

It is our mission to make big data related to polls and elections accessible for researchers, journalists, politicians, and citizens across borders to create a common understanding of global democracy.
